For this visit, my blood pressure was good and Kate’s heart rate was in the 140s. My belly measured 30 so that’s close enough. I’ve gained 14 lbs. and they’re happy with that. I can’t imagine eating more! I’m betting I gain five more, I’d love to gain 20 total.
We were supposed to get the glucose screening but I opted to just do a blood test to check my levels along with my iron. They’ll do a finger prick to check my sugar levels on my next few visits just to rule out diabetes. I’m good with that.
I start going back every two weeks now!
We just found out my glucose levels were fine but my iron was low so I ordered an iron supplement.
It’s not just straight iron and says it’s easier on the stomach. If all I have is an iron deficiency, I count myself blessed!!
I worked hard this week on projects around the house, I had the energy and I’m highly motivated to keep things moving along but as a result, I’m feeling it today. An Epsom salts bath is in my future and I’m trying to stay off my feet.
Kate is moving constantly to the point that it takes my breath away sometimes. BIG movements, low and high, wide and long!
I recently started sleeping with three pillows but thankfully I’m still sleeping soundly. Thank God for summer break!
I’ve got all her clothes washed and her “nursery nook” is ready for the gifts to start pouring in. We need the changing pad, diaper caddy, more diapers and wipes, etc. And we still need to find a way to hang her precious clothes, which keep pouring in!
We’ve got 11 weeks or less to go!
