So Kate’s nursery nook is located in our master bedroom. It just makes practical sense and I’m really enjoying her space as we wait for her arrival!
We have the perfect nook in the back of the house where it’s shady and quiet.
This is an IKEA bookcase outfitted with a changing pad, changing essentials and bins with her clothes organized by size.
The cat thinks it’s her new bed. I ended up putting a blanket over it to keep the cat hair off the pretty cover.
This is the dresser and hutch from Andrew’s first room, it houses lots of keepsakes and blankets plus her accessories (and there are a LOT of them!). The hope chest was my mother’s mother’s mother’s then refinished and presented to me by my grandparents for my 18th birthday. Someday it will be Kate’s.
My hubby helped with the shelves, we wanted to hang her special outfits so we could admire them! It was my mom’s idea to hang her headbands. We have about 40 of them total! I love her Boppy and diaper bag and can’t wait to use them!
By the way, you won’t see a crib because we co-sleep and she has a “Swaddle Me By Your Side” bed to keep her safe and cozy.
We’re so excited to welcome Kate home!
